How it started

Devon Cabe started Shaded Industries in Canton in 2021 with a set of tinting equipment and a list of friends who needed their windows done. Five years and more than 5,000 vehicles later he still trains every technician himself.

Devon and our staff take great pride in our work and taking care of our customers, and none of this feels like work to us. We are car enthusiasts. We love what we do, and getting to do it for our neighbors every day is a privilege. By enthusiasts, for enthusiasts.

What started as window tint has grown into the rest of what a car needs to look right and stay that way: paint protection film, ceramic coating, custom builds, and the residential and commercial work that comes with being the shop people already trust.

The first step to any quality install is ordering quality materials. We stock GeoShield, STEK, SunTek and UltraVision film, and CARPRO, Gyeon and Koch Chemie on the coating side. No entry-level plastic tint, ever.

Attention To Detail

Installation is where design meets durability. Window sills come off, glass gets cleaned to a contamination-free surface, and film goes on below the sills. That is the difference between a tint that lasts and one that peels.

The shop

Everything happens in one place in Canton. Film is plotter-cut to your vehicle's exact year and model, and hand-cut when there is no pattern for it. Paint protection film goes on in a dust-controlled bay with misting systems running, because PPF is unforgiving about contamination and it does not belong in the open shop.

We work on daily drivers, lifted trucks and exotics, and we also tint what most shops turn away: boats, semi trucks, excavators, loaders and heavy equipment. Haywood County businesses can set up a commercial account at discounted rates.

Where our customers come from

Installs happen at the shop, so customers drive to us. Most of our work comes from Haywood and Buncombe County, with people regularly making the trip from further out across Western North Carolina. We also handle work for two area dealerships and the Haywood County Sheriff's Office.

Giving back

We host and sponsor car events around Haywood and Buncombe County. The enthusiast community here is the reason this shop exists, so we put something back into it.
